A Message from Mrs Morteo, our Headteacher 

I am incredibly proud to be part of the St David's Church in Wales Primary School family. Our school is a place where your child will be nurtured and educated to the highest standards, with a strong focus on each individual’s unique needs and potential.

Set in the heart of the picturesque village of Colwinston, our school is surrounded by the tranquillity of the Vale countryside. Colwinston is a "thankful village," rich in history and community spirit, providing a peaceful and inspiring setting for learning and growth.

As part of a close-knit community, we emphasise our church school values, fostering a sense of belonging and a lifelong love of learning. We are committed to creating a supportive environment where every child feels valued and inspired to thrive.

Our caring and experienced team are dedicated to nurturing every child’s potential. We prioritise fostering excellent relationships with parents, working closely together to ensure the best outcomes for each student.

 Our new 21st century school building has been designed to offer an environment where students can thrive academically, creatively, and socially. Collaborative spaces and plenty of room for exploration are two of the key features.
