We are the Rights Knights and we are proud to announce that in May 2025 we achieved the Bronze Rights Respecting School Award.

Our role is to share with you why Children’s Rights are so important to us at St David’s and in our day to day lives. We strive to be ethically informed citizens in our communities and beyond! 

Our Senedd members are Henry and Maibel. Our Mission Team teacher is Mr. Morgan-Cudd.

Children in Wales need to grow up happy, healthy and safe and this links well to our school values at St David’s being Ready, Respectful and Safe / Barod, Barchus a Ddiogel.

Our next aim is to achieve the silver award in Rights and Respecting Schools. We will do this by completing actions against the Silver award checklist. 

This term, the Rights Knights are on an exciting mission to create a Rights Mascot! This friendly figure will serve as a constant reminder of the Rights of the Child, helping us to incorporate these important principles into our worship, class activities, and everyday school life here at St David’s. Let’s work together to bring this idea to life and ensure that every child feels valued and empowered in our school community!
