Policies

Welcome to our policies page. Here, you will find a comprehensive collection of our school’s policies, which outline the principles, procedures, and guidelines that underpin our daily operations and decision-making.

Key points and guidance

Sickness in school

We follow Public Health Wales guidance and ask that parents support us to keep our school community safe.  We ask that a period of 48 hours is observed following vomiting or diarrhoea before your child returns to school.

Holidays during term time

Attendance is a priority for us as a school.  Our current policy allows for up to 10 days holiday per year to be authorised on the condition that your child's attendance is above 90%.  Holidays must be requested in advance using the online form.

Complaints

In the first instance, if you have a question or a concern you should speak to the class teacher.  If you are still concerned, please speak to Mrs Morteo.  We hope that we will be able to work together to solve any problems. However, if you should need to make a formal complaint please see our policy below.  We do ask that staff and community members are spoken to respectfully at all times.
