We are pleased to offer a range of options to support families.  

Breakfast Club

Our breakfast club runs from 8.00am every morning.  The last drop-off is at 8.20.  There is a selection of cereals and toast on offer.  There are a range of activities or the opportunity to play outside on the school yard.  There is no charge for breakfast club.  We do have limited spaces, so please ensure that you book through the school office.  

Colwinston Childcare

Children in our nursery have the opportunity to stay for a full day.  This can either be paid for at a charge of £20 per afternoon or funded through the Welsh Government child care offer.  Places need to be booked through the school office.  We are also able to offer ad hoc sessions at certain times, so please discuss any requirements with us.

Simply Out Of School Colwinston

Our after-school club runs from Monday - Friday until 6.00pm.  The Club is operated directly by Simply Out of School.  More information can be found on their website or by contacting them directly.

Extra Curricular Clubs 

Our range of extracurricular clubs run by staff include; choir, muddy Mondays, mindful colouring, chess, netball, sports, podcast, cross-county running and philosophy.  Clubs usually run for a block of 6 weeks and are open to certain year groups.  A booking form is sent out at the start of every term and we try to accommodate as many requests as possible.  

 

Art and Music 

Art Academy runs on a Monday after school for Years 3-6.  There is a charge for the sessions.  For information about the classes and how to book please contact the school office. 

We also offer piano, guitar and drum lessons during school time.  There is a charge for these lessons.  For more information about music lesson please contact the school office.
