It's a great theme to investigate as it has allowed for plenty of hands-on activities.  Our theme started with our 'jump-in' day where we all dressed as minibeasts.  The class visited our conservation area to find as many creatures as possible. We asked so many interesting questions which we will be researching over the half term.  We are lucky enough to have a butterfly garden in our classroom where we are eagerly awaiting the transformation of the caterpillars into butterflies. We  have  found out about earthworms and have even made our own class wormeries. During our school science exhibition, we had the opportunity to share our knowledge with our parents and peers.  We can't wait to find out more!
